This here is the page where all the bases reside, shivering in the cold because they're all bald and naked. The poor things. That's why you should take them home and give them some hair and clothes. Give them some plastic surgery while you're at it, too. Base editing is a lot of fun, you know.
The only rule I have is that if you use any of my bases, please link back to http://daftempire.zzl.org/. That is all. Oh, and there's another rule. Have fun. That's always important. But other than that, you can edit my bases as much as you want and use them for shop orders and so on and so forth. I won't really mind. Use your common sense, that's all.
If you do make a doll using one of my bases, I'd love it if you showed me the result. I like seeing dolls on my bases, and chances are I'll adopt your doll, too. And I'll look at your undoubtedly sexy site (if you have one, that is).
It all started with me wanting to remake one of my ugly ancient bases. It soon got out of control and I ended up with this monstrous base set. Make no mistake, though, Horace is the girl and Hortense is the guy. Feel free to mix and match limbs and so on.

I wanted to make a cute little base, and this is the result. And if you're wondering about the name... don't ask, I have no idea. And look, a POGO STICK! *bouncey bouncey*

This time, I wanted to make a prep base. This happened instead. I'll try making more poses some day. If you have any suggestions, tell me.

Ah, Katie. A woman of mysterious mysteriousness. You can't know if she's dancing or trying to punch you in the face until it's too late and you find your beloved front teeth lying on the floor, all cold and lifeless.

Beryl here is Scottish, and was made when I decided that I wanted to try entering a pageant. I finished 13th overall, and didn't make it to the final, which was a bit silly since my semifinal doll was pretty awesome (I mean, it had a BEEHIVE and all), but oh well, it's no use whining about something dolling-related that happened nearly three years ago.

Portrait bases for all your portraity needs. I don't particularly like dolling portraits. I hope you do, though, dear reader. Otherwise these bases are just going to sit here gathering pixel dust. And that wouldn't be nice at all.

All the other bases that don't fit anywhere else. The poor misfit things.

Sometimes, lovely people make edits of my bases. And that's awesome. If you make one, send it to me and I'll put it up on this page with a shiny link to your site.
Click here to download them, all in a convenient zipfile. Warning: they really ARE ugly. AVERT THINE EYES, CHILDREN.
